ABOUT MAYA NEIDECK

My name is Maya Neideck. I am a 26 year old tattoo artist working out of Electric Tattoo located in Garden City, MI.

Like many artists, my love for art and creating started at a young age. I always looked forward to art class more than anything, and doodling on the margins of papers was my favorite pastime. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2021 and was lucky enough to land an apprenticeship at Electric Tattoo a few years after graduating.

In college, I fell in love with creating large-scale black and grey realism drawings of portraits and animals using charcoal. This has translated nicely over to tattooing and is still my favorite subject matter/style to work on.

I currently reside in Southfield with my fiancé and our two cats, Weston and Roe. In my spare time, I love going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, and attending small concerts/events around the area.
